excellent location, only 10 min to train station and to the Alster, very friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English, checking in and out was smooth, could leave our luggage at reception after checked out until we travelled which was helpful, clean, room was nice and comfortable, good value for money considering being in the centre of Hamburg

The room was very quiet, despite the train line nearby. I could see a nice big tree outside, which was nice. Room was very clean, everything worked. The staff was helpful -- usually I have issues with getting an invoice, here they made it right away -- thanks Bogdan! I didn't have breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. But they have coffee machine (2EUR) downstairs, with normal mugs that you can take to your room, instead of paper ones. I liked that.

Breakfast was better than I expected with a good choice of food. The reception staff was most helpful and friendly, in particular a young guy (I think he is Turkish) and a lady who were exceptionally helpful and warm-hearted.

The hotel was in a splendid area of Hamburg. For a business trip it is the good choice. The room and the bed were large and comfortable. Towels were changed every day.

I would like a shout out to Miriam, the front desk staff who despite being very busy took care of us an graciously offered us a new room when the room on the 5th floor we were staying in, the ac was not working making the room to uncomfortable to sleep in. With a very full hotel she found us a room on the 1st floor with air conditioning that worked. It was a perfect hotel for a one night stay prior to flying back to the USA the next morning. Tip. Summers in Europe are getting hotter and many places do not have ac or are not very powerful. If a cool room is what you need to be comfortable, ask for a room on a low floor not facing the sun during the day. It makes a big difference.

Great location, next to Hamburger Kunsthalle, the main train station and the lake. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Clean and comfortable room with modern décor, small desk, ironing board and spare chair. In general, a very pleasant stay and a very good place to stay to easily explore Hamburg.

Nice location, close to main station. I really like drinks on the breakfast, it had nice taste(usually it has some kind of artificial flavor, but not here). A comfortable bed. A double door is good against noise in the corridor, but not saving from trains noise.

I liked the hotel and its location. You can easily walk to the historical center and see the heart of the city. Room was not too spacious, but you get all you need. Breakfast was great, even suitable for those who needs light and fresh food, water with lemon, coffee and muesli.

The breakfast was starting at 630, but for the event of the Bemer Cyclassics they were so kind to move the breakfast start to 545, so we could get a proper breakfast in decent time before racing :) It should be noted that according to Booking.com the breakfast started at 430 but in reality 630. And they have a Waffle bar :D Every hotel should have a waffle bar <3
